AUBUN TENNIS WOMEN'S COMP

Tonight was great having won the overall matches with my partner V....During our practise hit-out , she advviced me to play my game and  step into the ball with my forhand...Geat advice!

V won her singles rubber against J, 6-4..V was on fire and going for her shots!

Our first doubles was a disaster , losing 0-6, i felt shit and nervous...

Then came my singles against J...I was up 5-2, but somehow..I got too comfortable and relaxed..loosing intensity and focus..I seem to have this problem stilll, need work on it. My approach shot SHOULD ALWAYS BE DIRECTED TO THE BACKAND. my approaches were tentative and docile, just flicking to the middle. not a good idea! J started coming back..got to 5-4 on my serve..she missed  a forhand return but I regained concentrtion..eventually winning , 6-4, against a very good player

We  won our second doubles 6-3..Great result overall!
