Its the time of the month..yes, That "time of the month"! I had the worst case of stomach cramps, feel sooo tired and irritated and yet I still battled against the men! After 20 years of hormone therapy..I do get those symptoms, hell, I can even breasts fed babies!
Its funny sometimes when I compete against females, they may think that I on an ADVANTAGE, with their assumptions..but after 20 years of hormones ( the direct opposite of Anabolic Steroids) some females dont SEE that Im SEVERELY 'handicapped" coz i do loose my strength ..it takes massive intense workout just to get on "even-par" with everybody else..And no one can argue with my Endocrinology Results...
Back to the men's comp, I played against a highly regarded player..I was up 3-0...then my focus went just like Victoria Azarenka's match against Serena in the Australian open 2010, leading 6-4, 4-1.. I was slaughtered in my next singles 1-6..oh that "cramp"
On a good note, I have applied my Tennis Official knowledge and was happy to discuss Code Violations ( P got a warning for racket abuse) and i also let him know that you cannot stop play and replay point if you thought that someone called out...I had to reiterate that the ball must be kept in play or he looses the point..oh I love applying the general principles we have learnt!
