NSTA Women's Comp L1

-We won doubles 6-2/ 6-2, My  partner B won her singles 6-3, I lost in the tie break ( 7-5)

I was on fire during the doubles, didn't hold back and hitting hard and consistent...that ZONE seemed to have deserted me on singles match..Such a lonely sport

Every stroke, every shot MUST be hit with an effort! I came so close to wnning my singles rubber. Held a set point at 5-4, My opponent , M just hit a beautful drop shot and went down to the haywire.

I learnt that I didnt stick to my game plan was to attack her backhand, eventhough my own weapon ( double handed backhand) went off the boil.

My problematic forhand is finally coming back, Im pleased with that....I HAVE TO REDUCED MY HABIT OF SLICING FORHANDS!

My serve was great  ,doube faulitng  just twice the entire night.

Tommorow  is another comp...Mantra-contentrate/ focus!
